This outstanding wildflower is the Northern Queen of Sheba, a sun orchid species endemic to Western Australia. Orchid hunters travel near and far to the midwest region yearly to see these rare wildflowers in their scrubland habitat. This photo is from my 2022 orchid adventures, and it's one of my favourites for the year, hopefully looking at this image, you'll understand why.
